Searching a proper fronted.....

Now that I have readouts, I want to create something useful to view, like statistical graphs, current information, etc. A PHP Front-end would be useful?

So, google is your best friend. Only, when you are in a search for a front-end, you find a lot of them, but not in the way I like it, or you can use ‘plugins’ for commercial CMS systems. No fun, no front-end, so ending up with: MYO: Make Your Own.......

So I started with some bash-scripts to get the information from the weather-station. Then I needed to get up with my ancient PHP knowledge... And I got some help from Rob. He helped me out with reading a filename, containing the data, from a file and how to get the data into variables. Thanks Rob! From this point, I started to build... writing code, code, code, test, test, code, test..... etc.......

By showing the first view and doing some explanation to my friend Oskar Andreasson, he pointed me in the proper direction: USE FUNCTIONS! Me, slapping my forehead with my hand, thought... He is RIGHT! And so, this eliminated about 20 seperate script-files.

From that point, it started to look like something. Only, the Ajax menu on the left was a drag. Therefor, I started to look for another menu. Found it! And in combination with the old menu-script, it works like charm... at least, it does on Linux/Windows based Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome. Under Firefox and Safari, the CSS support does not work properly (yet).
